9mm Mainspring/Recoil spring recommendations

I have a 9mm Springfield 1911 RO that I'm looking to switch out the Mainspring and Recoil spring on. I mainly shoot 124gr and I will be using this firearm for IPSC. Any recommendations?

I changed out that factory ILS mainsprin housing with the silly "fudd" safety lock feature to a standard. I'm using an 18lb mainspring with a 11lb recoil spring.

I believe factory mainspring weight on a 1911 is 23lbs.

I run 11 lb recoil springs in my 9's and 38 super 1911's

I run 8lb on my 9mm 1911/2011's with a 18lb mainspring.

10lb is a safe bet.

+1 for the 10lb recoil spring and 19lb mainspring.

But 8-9 lbs recoil will also work for IPSC.

Thanks for the suggestions! I think I'm going to get 17-19 lbs mainsprings and 9-11 lbs recoil springs and try to figure out what combo works best.

There are articles around on the web that talk about how to tune the three finger spring under the mainspring housing. If you're noodling around with those springs have a go at tuning up the rest of it too. A full job WOULD be nice. But you can get probably 80% of it just with some tuning of that three finger spring from what I've read.
