just so everyone is clear "YOU CANNOT SHOT 9MM MAJOR OUT OF A STOCK GUN!!!" A 9mm major has a supported barrel while a normal stock gun does not.

Thought I might have been dealing with a tongue in cheek question, as normally, no one would want to shoot open division / 9mm major with a stock S&W.

I've seen the result of 9x21 unsupported in a stock 1911, I think it lasted 4 mags.
