9mm reloading

Reloading is a great thing to learn. I enjoy it a lot and everyone here is correct. Yes it can be pricey when u "bulk buy" but at the end of the day when I look upon what I have made and then get to shoot as much as I want its all good. Some people spend a lot more money on different hobbies and what not which is great ! I am glad that I can do it and also teach to others about my love of "Boom sticks" ! LOL !

You should check out Custom Reloading Services in Maple Ridge. I was using their stuff for years and it's really great quality reloaded ammo at ~ 2/3rds the cost of factory ammo. Between them and the Norinco 45acp deals from CanadaAmmo, I didn't feel the need to get into reloading until last year when I got into IPSC. I can burn through 2,000 rounds a month pretty easy now so reloading is a definite cost savings as well as being able to develop rounds to hit specific power factors.

I get most of my reloading stuff from Custom. Only problem I have found is my CZ TS doesn't like John's 40 S&W. They just don't feed properly. Never had any problems with anything else and the TS is a target grade gun so it is pretty fussy. John is a great guy, very helpful.

Feeding issues usually caused by the OAL or the crimp, in my experience.

My press has paid for itself 100x in the last 20 years

I agree. When I set up my own reloads I used a commercial round that I know works as a template and matched it. The reloads work great. Matched the length and crimp and away you go. I am also using a single type of brass for this gun rather than mixed.

Type of crimp makes a difference, roll or taper

For my pistol reloads, I use a 4 die set and final stage is my taper crimp
