A friend of mine gave me a bunch of different powders and was wondering if anyone has used them for reloading for 9mm.Yes i have reloading manuals. Some of the powders are obviously not suitable/safe.The ones i have that i am inquiring about are imr 4227,accurate 1680,accurate #9,h380 and winchester 680(not produced anymore).I understand none of these are optimal but i have a bunch of these powders and would like to find a use for them.I would be shooting them out of a sub2000.Any real advice would be helpfull

I was given about 12 pounds of assorted powders and just wondered if any could be used so I don't have to go out and get yet another type of powder.Guess i'll put some on the EE for trade.Out of all the powders that were suggested which kne is the most versatile and would work for .40 and .45acp?

Don't try and load for what you have or been given.

Load what data is available in the manual & official sites like data.hodgdon.com, its tried and tested. Don't experiment, stay safe.
