There are some non restricted ones out there. Do a bit of Internet sleuthing and you'll find them. The Just Right carbine for instance.
And for more $$ you can get a Beretta CX Storm in 9mm or 40 or 45, but as for a dedicated hunting gun there are better choices.

If you can score a nice Spanish Destroyer carbine, you'll have a very nice fun gun fer critters up to deer size
in close quarters. Got 2 with mine in the past 25 yrs.

This-Beretta CX4 storm NR. Just came back from the range. I like it. No recoil, VERY quiet,..My just rightCarbine was way louder. I had them both, I prefer the Storm. I put on a cheap $49 NCstar 4x scope and if its within 100 yards...I'll get it.

I talked to jeff at accuracy plus today hes got what im looking for chippa m1 carbine in wood and it comes with a 10 shot clip and I can use my 9mm 124gr full metal jacket cartridges in it . and as far as getting ammo I got a whole case from dante sports in montreal . and also I have the stuff too reload my own so that answers a lot of questions for you guys I have no intentions for using this gun for hunting at all >>>> target only I have a hand gun but haven't had a chance too use it yet thanks for the info ..... hound2013
CZ makes a rifle in 9mm, but they are a smooth bore if I recall, they are referred to as garden guns in Europe.
