Hi all, been loading and shooting 9 major for awhile now and thinking about trying .38 Super Comp. Aside from the 'brass' scarcity, wondering what would be involved in switching my Dillon XL650 over to load the 38SC...?
Anyone loading both, or switched from one to the other?

Cheers,
Jim

OK, so the shell plate needs to be swapped out...but the pins are good I assume? I'm thinking the 9mm bullet seating/crimping dies will be OK also. So...shellplate and sizing die, and brass...lots of brass...

You got it all right, nothing more for me to add.

Have you tried to size 38 Super cases with 9mm dies? Dimensions are similar, but not the same. 9mm Luger is tapered, whereas the Super is a straight wall. I think you might need a 38 Super sizer die.
