Hi.

I am having trouble with case size on 9mm reloads. They seem to check out with dial calipers, no swelling. But some stick in the mags. The taper getting me? Do I need to be more aggressive with the deprime/sizing die? How hard do you got the crimp die? I am just kissing them, not too hard.

What do you mean with stick in the mag.
How is the "plunk test" going?

More aggressive with sizing? What dies are you using, how did you set up the sizing die?

I did not know about the plunk test. I was using the specs from the book. I will try that tonight. Thanks.

The sizing die should be hitting the shell plate. That is a 100% size.

I reseated them to 1.140". They now drop nicely into my barrel. I was using the manuals dimension of 1.165 for that bullet size. They seem to fit in the mags better now as well. All other dimensions checked out, so that should be it. I will try shooting them today.
