9mmx19 rifle

There is that top unit (I can't remember the maker -- maybe someone else can help with that) that makes a 1911 Government Model pistol into a rifle by replacing the slide/barrel/spring assembly (?MechTech?). I know that a couple of years ago they were for sale in Canada. Also, many years ago Marlin made the Camp Carbine in 9mm -- took S&W magazines. And there was the PJK carbine. There are semi-auto UZIs with rifle length barrels, and I read recently about a 9mm unit being made in the US that converts an AR-15. Many, many years ago in the US, I had a 1911A1 with a replacement 16" barrel and a shoulder stock that clipped onto a replaced mainspring housing. These things are around, but now are rare. Looking on the Internet may be your best bet.

I've got a Spanish Destroyer Carbine in 9mm. Apparently the factory did a few thousand in this caliber by shortening the already chambered 9mm Largo barrel. It takes a detachable mag.
