Hey Guys
just got my first centerfire pistol, its a Norinco 213 (TT-33)
in 9x19 Parabellum. I went to my local gun/outdoor center and the head honcho there said it is an "exotic calibre" and it will cost a fortune. He also has no suppliers for this calibre. Does this sound accurate? I thought 9mm was 9mm? am I wrong? any idea where I can score some ammo?

Thanks guys

I bet you that Einstein thinks your M213 is chambered in the original TT-33 caliber, which is 7.62x25. That would be a hard to get caliber, unless you could locate some surplus ammo somewhere (it is available, by the way). But you're M213 is of course chambered in 9x19mm, which must be the most common pistol caliber in the world today. You can get ammo wherever pistol ammo is available.

meh .. I guess its pretty typical of North Bay.... sad thing is, Owner has been in the business 30+ years, and his gunsmith (Who was asked as well, and had the same reply) even longer, and is one of the big wigs at our lcal range. ..... Thanks guys its appreciated!! I guess Ill order from one of our fantasic sponsers here!

if they think 9mm is rare, they must be toking( get it) on eurasian milfoil- 7.62x25 seems to available in different centers, but heck 9mm?- i'd be very surprised if almost everyone on this board doesn't have at least one- even the revolver guys
