Can a 9x19mm 115 gr. cartridge be used safely in a Browning #2 pistol chambered for a 9x20mm 110gr. sr long cartridge?

I looked up the specs on the Browning pistol.

It is a blowback action. The 9X19 is designed to be fired in a delayed blowback gun that can handle that pressure.

So IMO I would say " no way ".

Colinjw is right. The problem is that the guns that fire those cartridges are built to handle very different pressures. The 9mm Parabellum cartridge is fired at much higher pressures than the 9mm Brng. Lng., and would damage the gun (and maybe you).
