A 10/22 in .223 and. 204.

Yeah, a 10/22. Well not really, but when you look at it, it basically looks like a glorfied Ruger, only with s $2000 price tag.

Those are extremely nice rifles. there 223 and 204 take AR mags and would be awesome varmint guns.

Fancy stock, free float barrel, semi-auto .223, tackdriver, integral scope mount, takes AR-15 mags.....sounds spendy to me.

Look at other non restricted .223 semis. Ruger mini-14 Target...HK SL-8, Sigs, etc etc. They're spendy, and the more accurate, the more spendy they get.

Beauties they may be... but, a fellow shooter bought a .22lr version a couple years back. AFAIK he's still searching for ammo that will group well! He didn't say anything, but he looked disappointed that my $300 BRNO blew it away.

most of us have a handfull of lesser rifles we could sell off to buy a rifle in this price range...why we don't is a mystery....you can only shoot one at a time but fondling them is a different story....

A lot of the guys here could sell off part of the collection and make the "wouldja, couldja, $50,000 rifle thread more interesting. Same goes for the Hunting forum as well. Just one of those unexplained mysteries. I'm guilty too, but if it ever comes to choosing between rifles and hunting the EE is gonna see some fast-sale bargains.

I agree, but it was once put to me like this: "Why would you marry just one woman, when you could stay single & make a whole bunch miserable?" Me being a married guy, had no rebuttal...
