A 357 MAG load with small pistol primer?

According to loaddata, I need small pistol magnum primer for a max load of 357 (or any load of 357). Can I still use small pistol or I need the magnum one? Please let me know before 6pm

158 Hornady XTP Hodgdon Titegroup 6.1 1,184

You'll be fine with a plain Small Pistol primer. You should be working up your loads if that is "max" though. Don't just assume data you find on the internet is safe.

You don't need a magnum primer just because the cartridge is called a magnum. Magnum primers are about the powder used.
