A 375 H & H Ackley Improved

Wood varies a LOT depending on the supplier. From Goby's you have to get into a pretty fancy piece of wood to spend 300.00 (in black walnut) some of the really fancy french/english/circassian can easily exceed a thousand.
When I try to sell take-off stocks for 150.00, I am ridiculed by one and all. Regards, Bill.

Today ... I wouldn't be surprised if such were in and about the $ 5k range.

For me - a low gloss oil finish and no "skip" line checkering.
And your checkering IS well executed ... I'm just just not a fan of skip line !

PS ... Nice to see it's been well looked-after too !

I saw your initials on the barrel and said out loud Dennis Sorenson made that.The guy behind the table couldn't figure out how I knew that.
