I just got the Jericho 941 aka Baby Eagle II, and took it to the range yesterday. When I seat the mag with the slide open, the gun goes into battery by itself, i.e. I don't have to rack the slide. I hope this is a feature, not a problem - could someone please confirm this?
For those who contemplate using CZ mags in this gun: I've heard they're compatible. I even tried it in the store with snap caps and it seemed OK. However, when I tried it at the range, the slide remains open with the last round released from the mag, i.e. it won't chamber the last round!
I tried this with Shadow mags, both factory & Tanfoglio ones.
I had a couple of FTFs within the initial 20-30 shots, and the gun was shooting low on the first 10. After that, I really enjoyed it! My groups were just as good as with my Shadow. The trigger was better out of the box; with the Shadow, it took about 1000 rounds & a new main spring to make it that good.
