I was at Lanz today, over at Silverdale to buy a H3CR "Tactical Pack".... I also just ordered an ATI strikeforce stock (black) from Wanstalls.... I'm gonna be turning my 10/22 into something a little more tactical and sporty..

But I took this picture, maybe it'll get the anti-gun trolls and lurkers blood boiling!

It's the kit they sell with a couple mags and a pile of stripper clips for inserting rounds into the backs of the mags and rubber covers. Cool concept but I've never had one out of 10 function with any reliability whatsoever. And yes I've done all the loading tricks and upside down and this and that. No mag should require that much attention. Anyway it still is a cool little kit and the concept is there. Hope he has better luck than us
 
I have one of those, it works great. I have found that you need to break the magazines in and put up with some FTE problems the first few times you run them through but then they settle down and work fine.

Now and then I have some FTE issues if I put the extra 5 rds in after the stripper clip, so I usually just use them as 20 rd magazines with the clips and don't bother with the extra 5
 
I bought four of those when they first came out. None of them fed worth a damn, I tried all the tricks too, including being far more patient than I'm usually known to be. After screwing around with them for over a year, I gave them away to a guy at the range who showed a lit bit of interest in them.

I didn't see him again for several months, and when I did I asked him how they worked out for him. He said initially he thought I was nuts, giving away over a hundred dollars worth of magazines. after a short time he understood why. He'd given them away too. I hope at some point, whoever owns them now can get them to work for him/her. It's a great concept, but the execution left a lot to be desired

Yeah this..... I gave a couple away as well and he is just as happy as I am with them haha. I don't know if there are variations of them or some were different than others. I felt the spring was weak and caused some of it. In the beginning I thought it was me loading them wrong, I watched a dozen videos and got really tired of bending rounds because they do not feed properly. I loaded them with every single trick mentioned and no mag should need such a performance. Oh well live and learn and hopefully as they keep making them they get better. I don't doubt some people had some luck as I do K of a couple guys who got them to work but no so much here
 
Just got back from the club,

Works for me.

when loading, hold the magazine upside down, if you do that, gravity will help you align the rounds properly.

I didn't have even one issue, after I got them loaded.

I just realized I should wear a hoodie or light jacket when shooting 22 because the hot casings can be annoying if they touch skin.
 
Should be renamed to how to piss off a range FUDD.. Anti going to hate it no matter what, doesn't matter if its 5, 10, 30 rds Or a transgender. Cute 25rds, How about 300rds..We never could rip more than 40rds before someone told us to stop.

That's good to hear. Maybe they aren't all crap.i loaded mine 8 ways from Sunday and wouldn't feed in 3 different 10/22. Upside down, right side up sideways haha. But seriously glad they worked out I had to move on from mine

I cleaned mine (not the magazine) but the stripper clips with some rem oil before, so things go smoothly. Did you try that? I did spray some into the magazine, but I didn't open it.

My club is a little fuddy, I mean 5 rounds only no matter if it's rimfire or not. Luckily I got another range also near me, with no restrictions - other than no steel (metal) targets.
