I am a firm believer in giving credit, and thanks, when they are due.
Mid June I walked into Wanstalls with a brand new PAL tucked neatly within my wallet. I went in with a vague knowledge of what I wanted: a carbine of some sort either restricted or unrestricted. I got to talking with one of the employees (Sorry, bad with names....) and was handed a CZ858 and a AR15 variant (forget which one). Immediately loving the CZ, and the fact that it was unrestricted, I bought it on the spot with a crate of the finest russian corrosive money can buy (wooden crate, two green sardine cans.... lol), and walked away a happy customer.
Fast forward 3 weeks or so and the rifle sat in my gun safe unfired and still in it's box. The problem? Wanstalls now had a VZ58 in stock, and I wanted it. So, I made the trip back to Wanstalls and asked apointed question: would they take the CZ858 back in trade (and cash) for the VZ58. they said yes, and the second painless transfer was completed.
So, a big thanks to the employees at Wanstalls for making this happen!
Oh, and picked up a Sun Optics reflex sight and a BCTactical rear sight mount at the same time. Works great!
