$180 each? I'll take a crate! On a more serious note, is anything currently available in 308 with a box magazine that's non restricted apart from the FNAR competition?

From back in the day when things were more simple . if you had one beer too many and got pulled over by the police they would tell you to park the car and take the bus or walk . even take you home . or to the police station if you were an idiot or just too hammered. and I used to take a pellet rifle into the bush and shoot pop cans that I found in the creek . cant do that now the swat team would be all over you . Ah Memories .

Assuming this was advertised sometime around 1970, the cost today would be approximately $1200. At that price, I'd still snap a couple up in a heartbeat.

I might be wrong on this, as it has been a long time, but it seems to me that the price of FN's went from $400 to over $1000 and back down again in the 70's or 80's, when the border guys were messing with importation.

Loved the FN C1, and later, my own L1A1.

Had one of those new in box, never shot it , shot the used L1's , english and Aussie, and a few 1A1's and a Israeli one, but they where a metric guns , so some stuff was different.

Sad times we are in now. I never liked the pickup back window gun racks. My NR L1AI rode around under the seat in my 1970 F-250 4x4. It's even hard to see pictures of them.

shoot what is available because in next 2 years nothing left to shoot with. I think in next 15 years any blade over 10 inch , any firearm component , bow and crossbow will be prohibited , EDC knife restricted ,
go back and see the history , what was available and what we got back ?

As a skilled keyboard jockey that has been fortunate to avoid being engaged in a real war..............

You know the old saying.............Is it better to die on your feet than live on your knees!

Brits, Australians and many other once "free" countries are on their knees.

Are Canadians willing to continue to elect themselves more and more loss of freedom?

PROPERTY RIGHTS.............freedom and prosperity
