I might want a browning in either stalker model, but I have not used either. I had my eyes on a Tikka T3 for awhile but, the brownings are looking nice.

T3 has the sweet bolt, so smooth and ###y.

So pros/cons of these three from owners please.

The T3 will be very accurate. That, plus the slick bolt and good trigger seals the deal for me.

And if my X-Bolt is any indication it will be even more accurate then the Tikka. I've got both, but prefer the feel, and handling of the X bolt over the Tikka. I like the Tikkas trigger and smoother bolt over the browning. You need to handle both and decide for yourself. Neither is superior over the other.

I know I'm in the minority, but I prefer the A-bolt over the X-bolt or Tikka. I find the magazine to be very convenient, the best of both floorplate and detachable. The bolt is smooth and the rifle is slightly stern-heavy which suits my taste. The buttpad is hard as a hockey puck but settles nicely against my four sweaters and a jacket in -40c. I have the Stainless Stalker model and it has gotten sub 1/2moa groups if I change out the nut behind the trigger.

I also like my A bolt 300 wm, the hinged cover keeps the dust out of the action and I love the fit. Right now it's my most accurate rifle.

Let me stand with you in the minority. Me too, I prefer A-Bolt. The bolt is excellent and the trigger to my taste is superior to the Tikka's. As for the cross - it is definitely the best.

If you are looking at a long action I would pass on the x-bolt, I find the bolt binds a bit on the long action xbolts.

Bolt lift on a fired case is easier on the tikka than either Brownings, might be the two lug bolt vs the browning 3 lug?

Accuracy shouldn't be an issue with any of the choices.

X-bolt has the best recoil pad.

For me personally I would likely buy an X-bolt if it was a short action and a Tikka if it was a long action.

I`m not a Browning fan either, i`ve had quite a few over the years, rifle and shotgun and the only Browning left in my gun room is a old Nomad 22lr handgun. I do like my T3 though.

I have not owned an X-Bolt Browning, so will reserve comment on them.
A friend has one in 243, and it is quite accurate.
I have no love for the A-Bolt. The magazine arrangement and the
trigger leaves me cold. Accuracy is not a problem.
The T3 needs no introduction. The only thing I did to my Hunter
in 338 Win Mag was replace the plastic bolt shroud with a metal one.
It is a shooter, with most groups under 1 moa.

A Bolt with the BOSS set up , an extra $100. but worth every penny. You get both the Brake and CR with the gun.
Very easy to tune reloads. Very accurate

I own 3 T3's, .22-250, .308 and .300winmag. All very accurate and no issues. I love the feel of them and the trigger is really nice. I also seem to have good luck with them LOL

personally I like the plastic magazine. Its not going to rust like my other guns with metal ones. where I might handle it a couple dozen times a day, in and out of my pocket getting scratched and corroded.

I have a T3 and had an Xbolt. Love how they both feel both have very slick actions with T3 have a bit of an edge. The choice factor for me was the trigger, the T3 trigger is far superior to the Xbolt trigger even with it adjusted all the way down. Ymmv

i like t3 laminates and a bolts are good too but the looks of the xblolt doesn't work for me. t3 triggers are the best. my abolt required a new trigger spring to lighten it up. both are accurate.

I love my T3. It's my favorite by far. Smooth bolt and feeding. The trigger is excellent and so is accuracy. Under one moa. My friend has an x bolt. he loves it. Last time we went out it shot moa. I still prefer T3.
