Hi Fellers.
I usually don't post here, preferring instead to torment my moral and intellectual superiors in the black rifle and black powder forums.
Anyhow- I ran into a fine gent at the gun club the other day shooting a Springfield M14 National Match rifle. I have always loved the M14 and one day I would love to go to Camp Perry and shoot in the stubfart division or something. I was even going to pimp out a Nork at one point but the gun safe exploded from internal pressure and I was forced (at gun point from my wife) to sell it and a few others.
In any event: either through premature senility or chronic foolishness I was under the impression that the Springfield M14's were restricted while the Norks were not. (I assumed that this asinine law came about because the boys at the Nork factory are commies as are the liberal swine that devised our gun laws here in Canada). Is this correct?
Good grief! If I was wrong I need to get on the EE and rectify this mistake! I would LOVE to pot a deer next year with a Springfield in a manly calibre! I like my black rifles, and I love my black powder cartridge guns...but there is no denying the grace and functionality of the Springfield M14, made in America as God intended it!
