A call to disagree on pistol stuff

How come Government workers and guys in poorly fitted grey uniforms are the only ones allowed to carry guns on their hips?

(Mandatory thread drift - provided by the ever present Trol who thinks this question relates to the OPs question. Post is usually found on page three of a useless thread on couch commando tactics.)

Cause .40 is way better than 9mm, Duh!

Clearly the luger is the number 1 pistol ever, I mean come on, it was the first truly successful autoloading pistol.

All other bow before the Luger.

Thanks guys I needed that.

by the way I agree that you all disagree but then I would have to agree that the 45 is the bestest all around round especially for shooting into space with bears.

As long as we shoot it from the shoulder thingie that goes up.

Oh wait! Now I'm agreeing which is wrong. We need to DISagree. Can I dis post this? And would I agree with your instructions on how to dis post this? I can't so I can't!

....I'm so confused........

Awesome thread!

So far, so good, except that we must remember that Hitler loved Smith & Wesson .22 revolvers long before he loved 9mm (True: really, really long thread on this in Pistols and Revolvers). I have a very nice .22 Ladysmith just like Hitler had. Unlike Hitler, I don't vote Liberal, intimidate Beer Halls with my Smith, nor am I for his firearms policies, which were the inspiration for most of the policies we see today. But, like Hitler and many of you, I love 9mm. Especially the Glock 19.

I am sad that a CZ is the best pistol anyone owns. Glock, SIG, Walther, Smith & Wesson, H&K ... wonderful, I agree. CZ? Eww! I posted one on the EE at a giveaway price and nobody would buy it. This alone is absolute proof of the ickiness and inferiority of CZ. Even it's in the World's best caliber, 9mm, a CZ is not salvageable.

Now, back to the Space Bears, and those unfortunate posters with CZs and such.

MMMM...bacon...

I finally realized the purpose of the ribs on the Thompson submachine gun. During long conflicts the operator wraps bacon around the ribs. The heat cooks the bacon, the ribs wick up the bacon grease providing greater heat dissipation.

The bacon also distracts the enemy with it's fragrance, and provides a manly hot snack for the operator.

alien space bears need to be stopped before they make it earth side and start to bear arms

I disagree on disagreeing. Like though and single opinion conversations are a hallmark of traditional nonexistant Canadian values. Saint Jack and the CBC want it this way. Obey and be happy.

Everyone has there own tastes and interests. IMO this is no different than personal fashion styles.
This does not make anyone else wrong or right, as long as it suites them at this moment in time.
Example; Many here would probably find my inteterest in persussion sixguns and bullseye target pistols a tad bit odd.
But I would be very wrong to dismiss anyone else's personal flavour of action shooting pistols.

Variety is the spice of life.

PS: I own a 1911 that I like very much!

Four pages of posts from members with two things in common, you all think you have the best pistol in the world, and you're all wrong. Without question the best is the TT-33. All of my other pistols are so intimidated by the Tok that they refuse to share a pistol box with it.

The Americans won WW1 simply by showing up and cleaning their 1911s. Read that in Wikipedia so it must be true. The 1911 is the best pistol.

A somewhat more subtle thread drift...only true Couch Commandos and armament experts will catch and run with it.

Take Care
