What happened to it ? BIL was telling me the Ojibwa in Port Burwell is a bone of contention with the local tax payers.

How the hell did a Russian sub wind up in New Westminster in the 90's??? Was the Russian Navy trying to sell us subs when we were looking for replacements for our Oberon-class boats??

Neat. She is in very good condition, obviously the organization that runs her looks after her. Very impressive armament. A standard modern Destroyer will have a single 5 Inch Gun... The Iowas have twenty of them, not to mention the 16 inch mains. That said most modern destroyer these days are basically floating missile silos but still.
The Queen Mary is another one I would love to see. Not the same impression as a battleship but impressive none the less. Sadly one of only a few ocean liners left, and One of the fastest, and Best Looking ocean liners around. Only one faster I think is the SS United States which unfortunately is rusting away in Philadelphia I think. And, in a way the Queen Mary can be seen as a milsurp as She served as Troop ship during the war if I remember.

The Texas is incredible, and if you book at the right time of year you can get a "hardhat tour", where they take you below decks and into off limits parts of the ship. I too have been on quite a few museum ships, and it's by far the best and most immersive experience I've enjoyed. Although Minsk world in Shenzhen, China, is pretty interesting too...look it up! Can't complain about girls dancing in camo tights!
