These two yotes were shot yesterday right around 12 noon.

They were travelling together. I took the first shot at the male at 80 yards free hand after running 200 yards and missed! I then hit him on the run at 160 yards and rolled him. I then pulled on the smaller female and hit her with my next shot at 288 yds on a dead run. (I lasered all the shots after I took them).

The male required a finisher because I hit him in the liver but he wasn't going anywhere. Shot them with my 270.

We were up on the Scubog island yesterday, but couldnt see 100 yards out for the snow and wind... I should have been fishing :)

Yesterday was one of those "thank god for scopecaps" days.
Looks like it was a bit nicer over there, maybe we shoulda headed over that way... We havent been out to my buddies property yet out by you guys.
Good shooting Paul...
Did you have anyone out with you?

Not bad shooting for a Southpaw. ;)

Ted

Hey now...lefty's are almost a majority in my deer hunting group! :)

Darryl, believe it or not I had my girlfriend out with me. She only watched me shoot the one...she couldn't keep up with all the action and didn't even know what I was shooting at with the second one.

She liked the shooting but wasn't a fan of seeing me drag them around :) She'll come around ;)

He didn't know I bought the gun but having handled his and seen his perform, he definitely had an influence :)
