Brought a couple of milsurp handguns out to the range today. Both are somewhat less common than what I usually bring: a matching chinese type 54 tokarev and a 1943 Tula Nagant revolver.
The Nagant, in particular, is a gun you basically never see actually being shot, but I made up some ammo from Starline brass I had lying around from years ago and some cast .30 bullets to get her working again
target at 15 meters. About half the holes are single action and about half are double action. There are around 25 rounds on this target. Overall, I shot 50 rounds at a couple different targets. Gun performed better than I thought given the heavey, gritty trigger and old school sights.
Groups were a little tighter with the Chinese Type 54. Ammo was surplus Russian 7.62x25TT. This military Tok is the best shooting one I have, and I have a few of them from different countries.
