A couple noob questions about new Citori CX.

Wondering how the OP is liking his new Citori CX? I just purchased one myself and am very pleased with it.

I have stored my Citori's a Plus and an XT Gold in Pelican cases without issue ever. I always put in a rust inhibitor though as extra measure. As stated a good wipe down of the metal parts and you are good to go. Unlike Hoyt though, I do not Rem Oil the wood. I just use a clean dry cloth to wipe my stock and forend and occasionally wax them. Clay at Prophet River has an outstanding bee's wax that really works well on gun stocks whether oil or gloss finished.

Unlike Hoyt though, I do not Rem Oil the wood.

I go even further, leaving a clean cotton rag with Rem Oil on it in the case with the stored gun... wood is good and metal too.
