A Couple of Questions for Fellow CGN'rs

I am fairly new 'round here and first of all this is a pretty good forum with a bunch of good guys & gals....

Some questions:

Who started the forum, who owns/maintains it?

I just Read the "Locked" OFF TOPIC Forum.... Man I laughed my ass off... I really needed that today (You guys are pretty twisted I tell ya!) What happened last May for them to shut it down???? Will it ever re-open?

sPuTnik, there were some "controvertial" topics/opinions posted in OT and the mods and admin got sick of "monitoring" the forum... That's my take on it... And believe me, I MISS OT... You'll also notice that topics get posted in the wrong forums now as members try to discuss OT issues that are important to them...

It got turfed because people got out of hand and constantly broke the rules, so the hammer dropped. It was taking up too much time. And yes, we have rules.
