a couple q's about dlask barrels

I've never seen one up close but I've heard they're pretty decent. I'm thinking about the 12.5" factory contour. Just wondering if the barrel band will fit back on. I'm assuming it will. Also are there any other accessories I can get for the threaded barrel besides a thread protector or the levang compensator? Also do these barrels prefer to be floated or are they accurate enough while using the barrel band.

I'm building a light weight quad/grouse/survival 22. I'm looking for 1/2" at 50 yards accuracy.

If you're talking about the 10/22, many posts have said the barrel band is for decoration only and reduces accuracy. I've taken it off my gun and have noticed no ill effects.

That is about all I know about guns and it's second hand info at best. I didn't actually test accuracy before and after.

Maybe they are decent, but 1/2" @ 50yds for something
designated as a quad/grouse/survival/etc gun
is a requirement that much exceeds the general idea of "decency".

IMHO, the kind of groups you are looking for in a 10/22 with a Dlask barrel
are for pimped guns (trigger job, stock fitting,
cleaning, maintenance, lubrication, optics, rests, etc.).
I would say try your luck with some other brand,
there are many manufacturers, US and Can,
there are quite a few importers, etc.

I have the 12.5 on my SR22 and they work great,very accurate but you can't use CCI Stingers in the as these are match barrels and they are tight.
Mine will not eject a live shell but they eject just fine when shooting.

Just shot my Dlask 10/22 at Squamish today. At 210m I got a 3" group out of 10rds. this gun has Dlask Receiver, 20" dlask barrel and VQ trigger group.
