From start to finish my hunt was 5 min long and I achieved my first double and triple all in the same day...

Double or Triple - isn't that when you bag 2 or 3 animals with one shot, repsectively...?

Within my group of buddies if you dump two coyotes at one stand we call it a double no matter how many shots, if you dump 3 geese flying over we call it a triple. Not sure if its correct just our way of saying.

One well placed shot at 250 yards breaks all hell loose.

Just currious why did you start to shoot at 250 Yards. Could you not have let them get closer and had better results? That being said good shooting. This is coming from expeirance by shooting to soon when multiple coyotes coming straight at me and only getting one.

I took the first shot because the coyotes had snuck downwind and came straight in. I was in an elevated position but when the lead dog stopped I could sense he knew something was up. Normally I let them come in as close as possible. When I see that nervous over the shoulder check they do I start shooting.
