A few black rifle photos including the new Tavor

I wonder how many rounds have been through CanAm's Tavor already?
When I first saw it at a Tactical Rifle match last year,
(2007-May-06 http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=150200&page=4)
we alone put about ~600 rounds through it. Now it has been back and forth across Canada pretty much non stop since then.

I bet it has more rounds through it than most black guns ever get fired in a lifetime.

PS. i would like to see the article. I had an article published in the CSSA mag a few months ago on both the Tavor and the Norinco Type 97A.
It's pushing about 15k. 4 or 5 cleanings and no broken or replaced parts. Actually very little wear at all.

Hey Sprint , I saw you're a lefty ... how did you manage the brass from the Tavor ? Did you have to spit them out after firing ?

Actually, thats Mike firing -- not me. He's a right handed shooter, but was testing for exactly what you are refering to.

So far as I know, its no issue. I did not try it.

I understand that it is armorer reconfigurable to left handed operation. It definitely appears to have the same design characteristic as the AUG - a replaceable plate on the left hand side of the receiver. CanAM, does the firearm come with a left handed bolt complete as the Ruko imported AUG-SA's did?

Take the preceeding notes with a grain of salt. I also understood Miami Vice to be a good movie with entertaining acting. ;)

As I mentioned, I did not strip and assemble the rifle, so I cant personally confirm or deny this tidbit.

Hopw that helps.
