I know that I love checking out everyone's M14 pics, cause they're all unique in their own way. So here's a few shots of mine. They're off my phone, so they're poor quality but you get the point.

Poly Tech M305
S&J Hardware Cheek Riser (Great product Made in Canada:rockOn:)
ARMS 18 Mount (Need I say more?)
Sightron 3-9x SI scope ( On sale at Frontiers, seems like a nice scope)

I don't know what the rings are. I paid $5 for them in the EE. They get the job done. Had to remove the rear sight cause the scope sits so low.

Waiting to hear back on one of the Rauch Op Rod guides.

Also bedded the trigger group and receiver with JB Weld. (Hungry inspired me) and peened the flash suppressor and gas cylinder splines.

Wish I could find some reasonably price ammo to sight the rifle in.

It seems that the metal's finish is alot darker than previous ones. Did you do something to it or is it the photo's?

Is the storage compartment in the butt effected by the install of the cheek piece at all?
I'm doing a massive build with my black M305 to see if I can get .5moa or better from her and a stock is on the shopping list but I want to see what I can ring out of her with the original stock still on her. I would be interested in this cheek piece.
Rifle looks good. Let us know how it shoots when you hit the range.

Best Regards,
Tim

The Parkerizing on the metal is the way it came from Poly Tech. I think that it is darker than the Norincos, but the camera may be adding to it a bit.

The holes that you drill for the cheek piece DO NOT interfere with the storage compartment. The product came with clear instructions on how to mark and drill the holes. I carefully used a cordless drill. No Drill press required.
