A Few Questions About Reliability of .223 CSA VZ 58

I wonder why they would not make a metal magazine for the .223 model? Seems so bizarre to me.

Not sure. Probably cheaper for the plastic. I know this question has been asked a lot on here.
Magwell adapter opens up pistol and beowulf mags so....
I just wish mag adapter was aluminum. It's fine for a range toy, plinker, hunter but not sure how well it would hold up to really rough use.

Ive had one now for a few years. Ive lost track of how many rounds ive put through it now but im sure its over 5k. No issues with the plastic mags. I have mine with a posp scope on it and works just fine shooting coyotes.

Two questions, can you put the tactical bolt release on with the AR magwell adapter at the same time and do all Vz 58s come with the rail already mounted to the receiver?
Thanks,
Trevor

Don't do it, traded mine in and got a fraction of what I paid. Buy its original design. The .223 version was nothing but a pain, only ran with Fmj no plastic tips, the AR mag adapter was replaced twice (cheap plastic junk) and the third started coming out of the magwell when you change the AR mags, the original mags ran well but they were so cheap everyone had a chip or crack, made a couple of hybrid mags that fit and worked but lost interest altogether. I'm waiting for the 958 from Wolverine looks interesting maybe i'll give the right version a chance.
