A few Walnut K31s

Stocks were rubbed with Scott's Liguid Gold spay.
It does a decent job of cleaning the wood.
Shines tones down after it evaporates.

can the k-31 stock be used or altered and used as as stock for the older 1911 rifle? or is there ( ithink yes) a difference in action lenths, the k-31 bieng a bit shorter?

Not Interchangeable. All the main component measurements are different between the 3 main variants 1) M1889, 2) M1896/11 & M1911/K11, and 3) the K31. Just look at the different magazine placement for starters.

Look near the bottom and see the spacing differences from the triggers to the magazine, then the upper handguards and sights.
