A guy at work sells reloads

I've never met the guy. There are hundreds of employees at my job and I've only seen his add on a billboard. I was just enquiring about the legal aspects of selling reloads. Other peoples reloads don't interest me because I roll my own.

I don't feel it's my place to remind him of the laws and regulations regarding the production and sale of ammunition.

But you think it's appropriate to mention his business name in an open forum. Why even bring it up, you know in your soul you weren't going to buy. That should have been the end of it, with no need for this thread.

when did he mention the business name?

Seems to me I have a box from a company called Centaure. No, not the Russian stuff, but this was from a Canadian manufacturer. They supplied a lot of 38spl to LEO and security companies in years past, all remanufactured stuff. May still be in business so it may be legit. Best to check into it further before running around screaming "the sky is falling". Again, it was a Cdn company and if I recall it was located in Laval QC. May have to do a bit of research..

Centaure still exists and produces reloaded practice ammo for Quebec police depts, armored truck co and gun clubs.

Now, my question was: What makes it possible for a company like Centaure to be able to sell reloaded ammo but not a regular Joe? Is it an explosives permit? Certifications?

I got the answer to my question before people started misreading my post.

What should have been the end of it, is your comment.....before you even wrote it!

Next time you criticise someone on an open forum, just make sure to read AND understand what is being dicussed.

I have to agree with run away very far and fast. I would only purchase remanufactured ammo from a reputable brand like Combat Masters, or Wolf
I've had no experience with Wolf but I've been very happy with Combat Masters (when I could find it) and Custom Reloading Service in BC.
