A.I. conversion for Savage (McMillan)

I have a Savage Short action in a bedded McMillan stock, that has been rebarreled with a Lothar Walther tube in .260Rem, and seems partial to Scenar 139's over H4350.
I'm pretty happy with it, apart from the fact that it uses the stock Savage detachable magazine system, which leaves a little to be desired.
Is anyone aware of available bottom metal which would support the use of my beloved A.I. magazines?
I have another Stevens (pre-accutrigger) that has just such a system fitted, but can't find the source.
Any help would be appreciated.
 
DBM for a Savage that uses AICS magazines? This is a definite good. At my Precision Rifle clinic in CFB Petawawa this Oct 2012, I was giving the Savage shooters are hard time during the 200 yard Rapid Follow Up match. We did this serial over about 3 x each and the Savage shooters (factory magazine IIRC) was driving one particular Savage shooter bananas. I never laughed so hard.... :evil: on the firing line!

Maybe I should let him know about the CDI bottom metal for the Savage rifles... ;)
