How about one of the single action army-ish type pistols?

Well balanced and generally have smaller grip frames.

Classy as hell too ;)
 
I recommend the Ruger SP101 .22lr

Whats the pound-age of the trigger pull on this model?
 
Haven't handled one yet but with all the reviews on Rugerforum, it seems to be about 16lbs for DA.

But they have said that it's a crisp break in SA and others have said the DA smoothed out after 1000rds.

That's about all I can gather.
 
A S&W Model 19.
A lot lighter than the 686.
Perfect for shooting 38spl.
A very nice trigger and sights, and an accurate revolver.
Some nice ones come up on the EE between 450 to 600 dollars.
If you want a 22lr revolver you can get a S&W Model 17.
It's the same as the 19.
