A Little Fun with the UTS-15

id redo that video as it looks like the gun doesn't work well or is hard to cycle, not doing any favours with this video to promote the gun

We have lots of videos on our youtube channel showing how well these work and there is lots of good independent reviews and videos in the UTAS UTS-15 Roadshow thread.

I still wonder why, a person can jam or short shuck an 970, or a Mossberg etc and no one bats an eye, yet if it happens with one of these it's the end of the world. These videos are as much about showing what kind of fun these are as anything.

If it was about slick production etc and making it look like the product was infallible, then I guess some folks would edit that out, but to me that isn't really right either. If the weather holds I might do another video with one or two of these, we'll see, maybe some slugs would be fun.

I think everyone is paying more attention to this one jamming because it is a new looking design and people are waiting to see how it operates before they purchase one. I know that I don't have a good feeling about it after watching the video.

Once you learn how to shoot it, stoppages are rare. You just have to be a little forceful when you're working the action... It's good stress relief.

You understand Grumpy, and if you do not someone else will. Its a new design, new gun and you are on youtube! Anyway seems like you are getting eaten on youtube comment so keep "wondering"

It didn't look like over $1000 fun to me, cycling seemed pretty rough, thought about getting one of those, that video confirms my decision of putting that much cabbage elsewhere, no offense to anyone, it just didn't excite me much with all the struggling

I think if I set-out to do a promotional video on a product of any kind, and the video made the product look anything less than awesome....there would be a tremendous amount of temptation to say "cut, let's try that again".

The video tells me that you need to practice to use it effectively.
Any pump will jam if you short stroke it. So what?
This video wouldn't stop me from buying one. Now the price on the other hand does.

Respect to Wolverine for not editing the video and showing it as is. Goes to show the issues with this that have been widely reported on the UTS on the internet/

I have seen the roadshow thread and know these are fixed and that what was seen in that vid was clearly user error.

That being said, I agree with the sentiment in .22lrguy's post above.

Hopefully I will be getting one on trade by the end of the week!
