A little help with a project of mine

As far as the bearings go, you can fab a steel cylinder with a flange on one end with a bolt pattern. Press fit bearing to steel cylinder and bolt to frame. Just my 2 cents.

*finished*

Well, after some long nights we finally got the thing finished. Seemed to work out pretty well!

And all folded up.

As well as a video.

It could use some more throwing force, but I have a feeling more spring tension would nuke the cheap-o one way bearing we installed.

Anyways, thanks for the suggestions!

If there's interest I can post the pictures of the build.

Needs more power!!!! and maybe an auto loader feature to drop a stack on it and let her rip.... ohh wait that's what I want LOL
Joking aside Very nice job!

probably a fun project. Just for some humor, now that you created a light weight/portable thrower, how is the design of those lightweight portable targets coming. :)

if you ever know of anyone having an interest in shotgun sports and having to do a project again, tell them make a shotgun "hull" recycling machine. (small scale) - could be profitable.
