Apologies for not posting here right away.
I'm somewhat new to CGN, having been here for around a month now. I'm a 2Lt in the CF. Army reserves in Vancouver, and prior to that was serving in Victoria for a few years.
I've caught the shooting bug something fierce, and would spend a lot more time on it if i had the money to do so, as I'm sure most of us would. I currently own a Mossberg 100 ATR in .30-06 with a Tasco 2.5-10x42 optic, in addition to a Mossberg 500P Persuader shotgun. I'm very keen to get into competitive pistol shooting, and am currently foraging for a good pistol to get started with.
I have attended the Canadian Forces Small Arms Competition (CFSAC) at the Connaught Ranges in Ottawa in 2007 and 2008, and that's what inspired me to get into shooting. Not only was it an excellent experience, I noticed I was getting creamed by just about everyone else, so I realized I should practise on my own time!
That's me in a nutshell. Any questions, feel free to fire away.
