A-Max and VLD BUllets?

What are you guys usein to seat these bullets? I have a rcbs and im loading the 162 V-Max the seating die dose not seem compatible with these long bullets.
I was using a forester with the bergers in the 6.5s ,no problem
Can I buy a different seating stem or do I need to buy a new die
I read some where you can drill it out a little bigger or longer and that will fix the problem.

Redding sells replacement parts for their seating dies to seat the VLD bullets, but I am not sure about RCBS. You could machine the seating plug on your RCBS die to better fit the VLD bullets.

I use redding dies and they work great

I'm using RCBS dies to seat Berger VLD's in my .257 Wby.

Must be OK because I get 1 1/2" groups at 200 meters

Drill out the center of your seating plug with an appropriate sized bit to allow the tip somewhere to go so the plug won't crush it.

^^^ That is what I did.

Try phoning the RCBS customer support number. They might mail you a free, updated seater stem.

I have a Hornady die set for 6.5 Creedmoor and it came with both stems.

I left several messages with RCBS and they never did tell me if they made a bullet seating stem that works with the VLD bullets so I phoned them this morning ,they said if you send them a sample bullet and $17 they will make them.
So im looking to slowly get some new dies .Who has a good selection of die that will work with these bullets
