I don't know if anyone else out there is a big fan of the Millet "Angle-Loc" rings, but if you are, BUY NOW!! I love them because they're all steel, you can do your coarse lateral adjustment with the rings, and they've never let me down. I just heard (from those fine folks at Al Flaherty's) that Millet has been bought out by Bushnell and those rings are a thing of the past unless you can find a vendor who has some old stock. I had a set of high Angle-Loc's that I just installed on my Mossberg to replace those crappy Weaver rings, but I'm on the hunt for a set of medium rings and maybe one set of low to keep in my inventory. If anyone has a set of med 1" Angle Loc's looking for a new home, let me know. I'll either buy them or trade them for my high ones.

?

I thought that Millett was bought out by Bushnell years ago.

That is who I had to call couple of years back when I kept returning Millett scopes that showed up broken right from the box.

Millett 6 Bolt rings cost me a Sightron scope recently

they definitely were.... A friend had his millet scope break, I'll guess 3-4 years ago, and it went off to bushnell for a warranty replacement. It took a long time.

Guys, sorry about your bad experiences with Millet. All I've ever used were the scope rails and rings and the only time I had a problem, it was my stupidity not the product so that's why I like them. Hey, DMS1, if you have some Millet angle loc rings going begging, I'll take 'em and give you a set of Weavers (if you wish). I also have a Weaver tip-off scope mount for the Winchester Mod. 100/88 rifles if you'd like as a trade. Whereabouts are you? Shoot me a PM and maybe we can do some hoss tradin'.

I like the angle lock. Not sure why there's so much hate for them on here

They may be steel, but the strength of the unit relays on the strength of a single screw for windage. I'd rather use my talley light weights in aluminum with 4 screws per ring cover and 2 screws to the receiver each.
