A monopod is very effective... Vid...

If you can do it for real why not make a real video to prove it and not a shoped version :) .

Or just show up to a competition and win or place in the top, which shouldn't be hard with the claims made. That way there will be plenty of credible witnesses to verify these claims...Somehow I don't see that happening, just saying.

I'm really on the fence about this. The results are so amazing that it hard not to think something is fishy. Not saying there is, but when you are approaching world record groups, people are bound to ask questions.

Best way to shut everyone up is to go to a comp or 1MOA challenge, and have other people see you shoot and see your results. Looking from an outside perspective, you can say that your targets are 300 yards, but that's all we have to go on.

Those a real videos maybe not top quality but it is no mega production, it is funny how things go, at the beginning, i stated my results, not enough, after that i started putting simple picture, not enough, after that better multiples pictures, not enough after that small video on Cgn, not enough after that youtube site with 36 videos already and now,i am asked for a real video, i think you guys will be satisfied with a Lord of the Rings production but it is ok, i am finding my way around filming and computing with the time i invest in that and i get to shoot more than ever... JP.

Caramel I watched most of your videos and they are all cut and interrupted that is not proof my friend proof is one uncut video ,you turn on the camera and dont shut it off until you are done.
You only need to make one video not 36 just do it uncut.

Or why don't you do like some guys here have been saying ,show up at a match I dare you , if you are retired like you say there should be plenty of oportunity .

I'm sure Maynard would be more than happy to see you show up like you said you would last winter or is this over for the year?

Maybe even take up one of the few offers from guys in your area that said they would go to the range with you.

Anyway like I said in a previous post in one of your threads some of the groups you have claimed are possible but you have a funny way of proving anything the way you are going about it :) .

Even an uninterrupted video wouldn't prove anything as you could have a second bench off to the side closer and with a real bench gun.
You say you are retired and you seem to have lots of time to shoot and make videos. So, just go to a competition and be done with it.

He will never do it, he's been asked numerous times but will never show up. Why not? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. He's got another couple of gems posted on his other monopod thread he's got going. He must think people are gullable and just got dropped off the turnip truck. I think he actually believes it himself. Funny how he never has a credible witness to verify his claims, he is always alone yada yada yada...

X2 EC - did you see the one hole 10 shot group at 300 meters posted in the other thread ? Sad, really. Bob.

Maybe he's confusing feet and yards? I mean if you take your time between shots and don't let the barrel heat up at all, I spose a 10-shot 1 big hole group at 100 yards is possible with a 6000 dollar rifle :yingyang:

ETA

Just got a nice leather rear (bunny ear) shootin' bag from Brownells, needs a tad bit more sand in it, but the extra stability is great :D

If caramel's claims are apocryphal he's only kidding himself. The less discerning may also, unfortunately, be taken in. The more seasoned may want to treat the claims with indifference. Wouldn't it be a shock that he just might have one world beater of a rifle and the ability to go along with it ?

Not sure why I still open up these Caramel threads..

When he first started out on here, his grandiose claims used to rub me the wrong way, but I've been over the hump for some time now.
I open his "treads" for pure entertainment these days.

I feel like it is all coming to a conclusion soon enough, he will either back-up his claims at a match and prove he is arguably the best shooter alive in Canada today...or the train will keep on trollin' down the track, and knowledgeable and experienced shooters will not subscribe.
"If it walks like a duck..." ;)

Conclusion? Not likely and unfortunately the train will keep on trollin. He will never back it up at a match and won't explain why he won he won't show up.
I am sure if he could he would have done it and shut everyone up for good.
He will just continue to post pictures on the internet and make these crappy videos and not prove a thing.

Underachivers are often the first ones to cry liar,liar... JP.

JP,

Rather than call other people names for doubting your pretty amazing claims why not just put an end to it?

You've obviously had some success in your life which tells me that you must have some level of competitiveness in you; why not come out and try shooting a competition? There are many held within a couple of hours of Montreal, and you might really enjoy it. Barring that, just show up at Maynard's MOA shoot in September and show everybody what you and the Nemesis can do. At least then we can all move on!
