I though you milsurp fans might get a kick out of this.
Its a Blue Wildebees that I took in South Africa a few weeks ago with my friends MN (1941 Finnish IIRC). He has had the rifle since our college days. Its been sporterized in so far as he has added a plastic stock (ATI?), a Timney trigger and has had the bolt altered. The steel scope base attaches to the receiver ring only, of course, with three screws. He has used it to take many head of game.
On this day I was using a 215gr Woodleigh .311" in Lapua brass, driven by Somchem S365.
