i got my boyds stock last week.
really nice. i had to bed it in order to make the tang float.
i was going to bed it anyway but it means extra cost for those
who can't do it themselves

the hinged floor plate fits perfectly in their dbm inlet.

Stock looks great. I wasn't sure how the plastic forend tip would look but looks really good on there. Did you get the 1" pad option? or just the one that boyds put on it?

just the boyd pad, i haven't shot it yet so i don't know if it's too hard or ok.
i will put the one from my savage stock if need be

With the laser checkering, end cap etc., it was over $100, correct? And Boyd's obviously shipped it to you no problem?

Did they ship USPS, or did you get raked over the coals with UPS?

The limit is $500 for a few months now. They mail the stocks. I have been hit a few times and got away free a few times. Last time I paid $26 for tax.

I knew the limit had increased to $500, but wasn't sure if Boyd's was adhering to the new limit, as their website isn't updated yet that I could see.

Thanks! I'm going to order one.

when i called them, they explained that the limit is still 100$ for all other countries
thats the reason the web site hasn't changed.
they shipped via usps and i w s charged taxes and 10$ handling fee

My boyds was listed at $92. Total after taxes and shipping, I ended up paying a little over $150 USD :sok2 Good thing was it came within a week. Fit like a glove.

I just received a boyds stock for my Axis. $100 for the stock, $50 shipping and then got dinged $26 tax at the post office....heck of a nice stock though. :)

What is the weight compared to the factory stock? Was that a 116 fhss with an accu-stock to begin with?

it replaced the standard plastic stock not the accustock.
i modified the original trying to reinforce the front half. so it's now
impossible for me to know how much it weighted originally. but the boyd's feel a bit heavier.
