a new trend in powder shipment!

anyone know a good reason why some people only ship purolator? I just bought ten pounds of powder from one place, shipping was 60 bucks. Bought sixteen pounds of Varget from another guy using canpar and it was twelve bucks. Wtf?

The issue has been resolved by the dealer , full refund of the shipping and the spliled powder. Prophet river was the dealer.they dealed with the issue very well.

Our aplogies, the shipping department has been corrected so they don't ever ship in an envelope again. :)
As far as purolator goes, for powder, we have little choice, shipping from Lloydminster.

...and as for the bottle, what happened to the safety seal inside the cap (just curious)

It would look like the package got squished, causing the lid and seal to "burst" off the bottle.
I wasn't there, so it's just a guess.

@PR, your reply speaks volumes about how you treat customers. Good on you for taking care of us. Some are too quick to lay blame on the shipper etc, which you could have easily done.

Thanks. We have a good lady running shipping. Very few mistakes but this is clearly one of them. Would it have been nice if it was delivered without damage? Of course, however, a fairly predictable outcome. :(

Personally, most 1lb Hodgdon bottles of powder I've purchased, the safety seal wasn't really stuck on to begin with. You can usually peel them off without tearing anything off them if they don't lift off with the cap.
