New to your site. Was directed here from a friend at work. I have several years of shooting experience but it's old experience. At one time I owned several rifles and shotguns and a small collection of revolvers. For reasons I can't remember, I liquidated my collection and did not shoot for almost 20 years. Working for Canada Border Services, and having been recently armed, I decided to return to sport shooting, if for no other reason than to maintain my skills. My wife was interested in joining me in the hobby and we have decided to pursue membership in our community rod and gun club. The good folks at Mission Rod and Gun had a Cowby shoot today and along with allowing us to observe, they invited us to sample a bit of the action. Well I tell you it did not take 1/2 a box of ammo to hook both my wife and myself. Originally I was planning on moving a few of the recently inherited firearms to purchase a couple of pistols. After todays cowby shoot, not sure if I'm going pistol or single action first. Anyways, we are excited about getting out there and enjoying the people and sport.
