A nice sunday afternoon shooting sporting clays.

For sure there no better way to spend an afternoon with friends .

You bet. 2 or 3 years ago, I had no interest in shotgunning. I had done some duck hunting nearby and didn't like the taste so I quit hunting birds. Shotguns were collecting dust. My buddy Clay (fellow with red T-shirt and appropriately named) who is an avid shot-gunner sparked my interest again by taking me to Silver Willow for a sporting clay shoot. Then my daughter bought me the electric launcher to which I added to wobble table underneath. Practiced quite a bit on my acreage as my neighbour owns all the land that surrounds me (large cattle ranch). He shoots with me and doesn't mind the clays landing on his land as he rolls them under each year. With all of this practice, I managed to win a gold metal for my age group in trap shooting using my nice old Wingmaster in the 2014 Southern Alberta Summer Games. It's not a high end event, but it does attract some decent competitors yearly. After another round of sporting clays, I decided that I liked it very much. I currently am culling the herd of various low to mid-priced shotguns that I don't use and treated myself to this Browning Cynergy. This could be the only shotgun in my safe and I'd be very happy. I am looking forward to this year's SASG's in Claresholm Alberta come July 11th. Wish me luck...;)

Sudbury is so far, I always check out their website. I'm new to Clays as well, like you I have a clay machine that I take to Burwash whenever I get the chance.

Also, whenever I shoot my composite Cynergy I feel like I don't need any other guns in my safe. Maybe a Pistol.

Looks like you guys had a great time!
