Many of you may not be aware that we have started a new forum www.canadacarry.org who's main goal is the persuit of ATC in CANADA.

We are hoping to attract ALL handgun owners and that those people will decide to become ACTIVE in lobbying for our rights to carry concealed in Canada.

It's going to be a long journey and we need everyone we can muster. We have already taken some very positive steps. Come on over and join the team. We are all in this together.

Please count me in. I'm a Canadian who lived all his life in the U.S. until I moved to Canada in 2006. In the U.S. I had a C&R license and a state carry permit. I collect what I consider to be interesting and unusual handguns. My experience leads me to firmly believe that properly licensed individuals carrying handguns do not constitute the potential criminal threat that the government believes they are. Prior restraint of criminals rarely is effective. Proper licensing of citizens and firm punishment for criminals are.

I'm interested in retaining possession of my possessions, but I'd be more interested in going hunting with a handgun then carrying it around town.
