Bought from Prophet tru their great sale, it was like a blind buy, those little SAA revolver are very well made and shoot awesome, both come with 2 cylinder 22 mag and 22 LR...

Those are the perfect family shooting revolver, just sharing an inexpensive buy that really deliver...

Oh no, the dreaded Heritage Arms .22s!

Seriously, though, it should be understood that these revolvers have grip frames and cylinder frames cast from zinc-aluminum alloy and some of the parts are plastic.
The finish is essentially painted on to the alloy parts.

Compared to a Ruger Single Six they are a little crude in appearance, and certainly not as strong.
The cylinders are machined steel though.

Some users are quite happy with them nonetheless after firing 2000 rounds.
But some users have reported barrels coming loose and internal parts breakage after less than that.
Reports are that accuracy is good, though the sights may not shoot to point of aim.

But they certainly are inexpensive.
 
Buying from a reputable dealer like Prophet, let you with no worries concerning those great little revolver, i love high end stuff but inexpensive stuff that is well made and perform, is always a bonus... JP.
 
This maybe not important but those SAA have the classic Colt 4 clicks, i love that sound... JP.

I wouldn't call them a great little revolver.
I would call them a revolver of only fair quality.
A pretty good plinker, but with somewhat clunky fitting wooden grips, and some plastic parts.
In the end, though, considering how much less they cost than a Ruger Single Six, it's a question of how durable they are and how accurate they are.
If they hold up and you can hit what you aim at, great.
If parts break and the barrel loosens in the frame, not so great.
If the sights are really off, also not great.

I also have an appreciation for inexpensive .22s as well as higher end ones.
But, over the last 40 odd years I've owned a few that worked great and others that literally fell apart.
