A peculiar find (for me!) and... ball park value?

I'll snap some pics. Didn't pay too much, pretty much in the low level of the range mentioned here. I decided to get them for the target sights.

Here's the second rifle I got in the "package deal". The action is from a 1943 Longbranch No4.

The barrel's different than with the first one (with the P14 action).

The stock is truly a tribute to the home-made concept... Not too badly done, mind you.

A Canjar trigger - good one.

I too am puzzled about the warning. The whole idea of the DCRA conversions was for civilians to shoot military issue ball ammo (147gr of DA's best). Civilians were strictly forbidden from shooting personal ammunition in approved competition.
