Somewhere I have pics of SEALS in Vietnam doing just this, but with an M60. Looks like the feed belt off a helicopter going from the gun to a massive box/backpack. That and two canteens was all he was carrying.Sometimes I just rig up the ammo can for a Dillon M134 in its place, and mount it on my shoulder. It's a crude rig, but it works when I'm in a hot AO.
I don't know about you guys, but I keep a .500 S&W under my testicles at all all times. The only thing better than having excess firepower under your balls is having a unit that can hide it effectively. Makes an effective back up while doing rub-and-tug ops.
This is my favorite thread of all time..

I like to use the weight saved by ditching my rear strike plate to rig up a multi-gun bandolier across my back, which in effect creates an x-shaped zone of spinal ballistic protection anyway. Sometimes I just rig up the ammo can for a Dillon M134 in its place, and mount it on my shoulder. It's a crude rig, but it works when I'm in a hot AO.
I'm so awesome I'll never be shot in the back anyway.
I also operate 6 independent backups, stashed in each of my pockets and one in between the cheeks of my ass just in case I have to slip it by a search. I tried to hide a pistol in the "bread basket" once, but it turned out my testicles were so MASSIVE there wasn't even room for a pocket-size .32 in there.
