Hi, for getting money order, which institute is best and most convinient? Thank you.

I heard of the term of "postal money order". Is this the same as the MO from bank or west union and alike? Can I get a postal money order from Canadapost outlet?

Thanks again.

Yeah you can get a postal money order from a postal outlet.

I believe they are a little cheaper than bank money orders.

IIRC CIBC charges around $6.00 to prepare a money order for you.

postal money order....you go down to the post office and ask for a money order in the amount you want..

mo from the bank...you go down to your local bank and ask for a money order.

:DThank you Fish,

That's very intuitive. I decide that going down to post office is a lot easier than going down to the bank. Thanks again.

One more question for sending MO to seller.
What is the most accepted way to send MO? Is the plain letter mail safe enough for sending the MO to seller? Thanks again.

I would recommend a small XpressPost envelope. It only costs about $9-$10, and it's tracked and guaranteed, and will get there fast.

A Canada Post Money Order costs $6 to get.

Both types of money orders come with a counter foil, which should be filled out c o m p l e t e l y before you post the MO. Keep the foil until you receive the goods. It is your proof of payment, and in the event of it going astray, it is the means with which you get a refund from the issuing institution. PMO the way to go, for less than a grand. Unless you're in a rush, regular mail has as high a success rate (or higher) than express. Less attention, less fuss, less out of the ordinary handling.
